The course will provide a comprehensive overview of invasive and non-invasive approaches to the assessment and selection of sperm, oocytes and embryos for ART. The first two sessions will be dedicated to sperm and oocyte assessment, with other sessions covering the morphological and functional assessment of embryos, PGT-A and mitochondrial DNA analysis, embryo culture, and novel approaches to gamete and embryo selection. Specific topics will include hyaluronate binding for sperm selection, morphological selection of oocytes, polar body analysis, fertilization markers for embryo selection, embryo metabolism, PGT-A, mitochondrial DNA analysis, and advanced imaging and machine learning. The programme will also include a debate on time-lapse imaging and its clinical impact. Many speakers are world leaders in their respective subjects. Participants will have the opportunity to participate directly in the scientific programme by submitting abstracts for presentation as poster or oral communication.
